The Plant People Limited can be considered one of the leading interiorscape businesses in Trinidad and Tobago.

Only operating and known as The Plant People Limited for the last 3 years under new management, this vibrant organisation is an amalgamation, built on the legacies of two of the leading names in the provision of quality interior foliage – Peter Richards’ Interior Landscape Division and Paul-A’s Green Foliage Limited. These original businesses were founded by entrepreneurs and agriculturists who leant their expertise in building the brands and quality that transferred to The Plant People Limited.

In 2007, the owners of Paul-A’s Green Foliage Limited made a decision to migrate from Trinidad and Tobago and put the business for sale as a going concern, which came to the attention of the current owners – the Samads. Not being intimately involved in agriculture or horticulture, but coming from rich family traditions based in agriculture, a love for plants and extensive experience in the private and public sectors, they took the brave step to acquire the business. Shortly after this first acquisition, by fate or fortune in 2009, the then owners of Peter Richards’ Landscaping also decided to migrate and offered to sell their Interior Division the new management of Paul-A’s Green Foliage Limited.

The amalgamation of two bodies of customers, workers, stock, some assets, procedures and practices under new management made for an engaging challenge and after the dust settled a decision was made to re-brand the organisation to prepare it to face the challenges and promise of the future with a new unified front. A young and budding graphic artist, Liam Rezende, was commissioned to design the new logo and he sought to create a visual design that reflected the root of the organisation: creating positive benefits between people and plants and the dynamism and energy of the management and staff.

We serve a large cross section of companies that includes but is not limited to the Financial sector, the Energy sector, Government offices, Companies managed by Facility Managers, Private sector, Multi-national Food chains, Private Offices, and the Piarco International Airport.
